In Piedmont–where hills are greening
a boy and two dogs play tug of war.
Then the victors spot the arrival
of a Fairy Princess from the Enchanted Emerald Isle who has spells to cast.
Later, there’s a trip down the hill, exploring with friends;
and still later, when the sun sinks lower, a red bicycle brings us home.
Natalia,
Your postcards transport me. I love the vicarious rush I get from tagging along in your beautifully creative journeys. You particularly understand the magic is in the everyday we have become familiar with, but don’t really see.
Thanks for that.

James,
What a pleasure to hear from you! What lovely words you write. Thank you! It’s been way too long.
