This picture is from Corriere della Sera, taken near Garibaldi train station in downtown Milan. The Seveso and Lambro rivers have overflown their banks due to the incessant rain. On Tuesday the newspaper published pictures of the new train station being flooded; today this. Other Northern cities that have flooded include Genoa and Chiavari (along the coast near Genoa).

The Italian peninsula is now full of smaller scale Venetian land/sea-scapes.
